NHPA offers residents overnight parking

NEW HAVEN, CT - Due to tonight's parking ban, the New Haven Parking Authority is offering off-street overnight parking options to residents. Cars may park in the following locations beginning at 5 p.m. today:

Surface lot at Chapel and Franklin Street (no charge)
Surface lot at Chestnut Street (no charge)
Surface lot at State and Pulaski (no charge)
Surface lot at Grand Avenue and East Pearl Street (no charge)

Residents may park overnight in the following garages beginning at 2 p.m. today:

Crown Street Garage ($3.00)
Granite Square Garage (no charge)
Temple Street Garage ($3.00)

All cars must be removed by 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Cars left in these locations during the day on Thursday will be charged normal hourly rates.
