Stamford, CT based media company, Canaiden LLC, announced today the launch of the latest addition to its online media network – ShorelinePlus.com.

The new Web site will focus on providing community news from the Connecticut shoreline region, situated between New Haven and the Rhode Island border.

Since its launch in 2005 the Canaiden Online Media Network has grown to become the largest community-fed news organization in Fairfield County. The addition of ConnecticutPlus.com in April, 2009 expanded the network’s coverage to include the entire state of Connecticut.

“We are extremely excited about the launch of ShorelinePlus.com,” said Naiden Stoyanov, publisher of the group. “The Connecticut shoreline has always been one of our favorite places in our state and it’s a privilege to be able to serve its residents.”

Even before its launch, ShorelinePlus.com has been generating large interest among businesses in the state that are looking to expand their services in the area.

Local marketing and advertising company, Seal Creatives, and the Connecticut Lighting Centers have already become long term partners with Canaiden LLC and will enjoy extensive online ad presence on the new ShorelinePlus.com.

"The Connecticut shoreline is a vast reserve of natural coastal beauty, culture, fine art, dining, shopping, lodging and recreation,” said Jan Nelson from Seal Creatives, with offices in Madison, CT. “It is essential we continue to cultivate tourism and community interest through information and marketing. We are dedicated to the goals of local businesses and communities, by offering affordable and innovative planning and creative product."

“The Connecticut shoreline has always been a very important market for us and we always look to further expand our exposure there,” said David Director, President of Connecticut Lighting Centers in Hartford and Southington and Restoration Lighting Gallery in Hartford. “Partnering with Canaiden was an easy decision when you consider the tremendous success they’ve had with their online network elsewhere in the state.”

“We are thrilled to have Seal Creatives and Connecticut Lighting Centers as our local shoreline partners,’ said Mr. Stoyanov. “Working together with such respected names in the community is a key to our success and we are looking forward to a great long term business relationship with them.”

Local community organizations, businesses and members can send press releases, events and other public information to pr@shorelineplus.com for immediate consideration, and, as is with the other web sites on the network, users can post local events on the online calendar system through the built-in self-publishing tool.

The Canaiden Online Media Network operates a growing number of sites, focused primarily on cities in the state of Connecticut. StamfordPlus.com, NorwalkPlus.com and ConnecticutPlus.com are among the major Canaiden LLC online media properties.

ShorelinePlus.com will be managed and updated by the same online team that works on the network’s news sites, lead by Iva Naydenova.

Canaiden LLC also publishes the print publications, Stamford Plus and Norwalk Plus magazines (The Magazine for Stamford and The Magazine for Norwalk).
