As the world welcomed the birth of the royal prince in England on Monday, the Stamford Museum & Nature Center celebrated the birth of nine piglets – six girls and three boys. The piglets were born late Monday evening. It’s been seven years since piglets were born on Heckscher Farm.
Similar to the birth announcement posted at Buckingham Palace, an official birth announcement has been posted outside of the piglets’ pasture on Heckscher Farm. Both mom and babies are doing well. No names have been selected.
