Three free concerts will be presented in Columbus Park as a part of the Pops in the Park series. Starting tomorrow, July 16, every Wednesday by the end of July, Seaboard Properties and HSBC on the Heineken Stage will welcome people interested in music to enjoy quality performances. Maestro Eckart Preu will open the series with "Pops in Outer Space."

The Stamford Symphony Orchestra will fly with Superman, cross Moon River, and travel the universe with light hearted music from Star Wars and Superman. Celestial tunes performed by Glenn Miller, Henry Mancini, and Cole Porter round out the program.

This Thursday, July 17, Alive @ Five continues with Eve 6, Article A and The Crash Moderns. The concerts begin at 5 pm in Downtown Stamford.

Eve 6

Eve 6 burst onto the scene as teenagers in 1998 with their certified platinum self-titled debut and hit single “Inside Out.” The band followed up that success with their sophomore release in 2000 with another smash hit “Here’s To The Night.” The band returns to the musical world after a 3 year hiatus with a tour and album to come. Their unique blend of power-pop and alternative rock has garnered interest in the industry since their inception in 2000. For more information, visit www.articlea.com
