Stamford Downtown, Connecticut . . . Chefs are cooking up a storm as Stamford Downtown Restaurant Weeks get underway. Starting Monday, August 14, 2006 twelve restaurants (all part of the downtown restaurant association called Stamford Tables) have gathered together for the next three weeks to offer a special dinner price of $30.06 per person (prix-fixe daily specials).

This year’s participating restaurants include: 122 Pizza Bistro, Bennett’s Steak & Fish, Columbus Park Trattoria, the newly opened Dragonfly Lounge, Emme of Capri, Grand, Il Falco Ristorante, Kujaku Japanese Restaurant, Mona Lisa Ristorante, Sabatiello’s Italian Grille, Telluride and Zinc…Bistro & Bar.

With a list like this and prices that can not be beat, it will certainly be difficult deciding on where to eat. Due to popular demand, this year Stamford Tables has decided to extend Restaurant Weeks for three weeks through Labor Day Weekend. So you will have plenty of time to try out all 12 wonderful restaurants! Restaurant Weeks will start on Monday, August 14th and run through Monday, September 3rd. Patrons are encouraged to check out menus on www.stamford-downtown.com or call participating restaurants directly for further information and reservations.

Stamford Tables Restaurant Weeks are presented by Stamford Tables restaurant association and Stamford Downtown Special Services District in association with 95.9 the Fox and 96.7 the Coast. For more information or interviews with participating restaurants contact Jackie Wetenhall at 348-5285 or visit www.stamford-downtown.com.
