Malloy was elected to his fourth term as Mayor of Stamford, Connecticut, making him the longest serving mayor in the history of Stamford. Throughout his tenure, he has earned people’s respect for his genuine commitment to managing a city government that takes great pride in the citizens it serves and protects. Malloy’s leadership boasts vast reductions in crime, new affordable housing and many improvements to an educational system that competes with the nation’s most prestigious public schools. In addition to his strong support for the arts in Stamford, his work with public education has earned the Stamford three “City Livability Awards” from the United States Conference of Mayors. He serves as Chairman, Ex-Officio on the Board of Directors of Stamford Center for the Arts. Joseph M. Cahalan’s responsibilities at Xerox include executive communications counseling and support, community relations and philanthropy. He joined Xerox in 1971 as manager, public relations, for the former Xerox Education Group, an organization of 17 educational publishing companies. He subsequently held a series of positions in public affairs and communications with increasing responsibilities. In 1986, he was named manager, corporate quality office, working with Xerox business units to improve the quality of their products and services and to communicate the Xerox Leadership Through Quality strategy. He was also a member of the corporate-wide team that put the Xerox quality process in place -- a process which resulted in Xerox receiving the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 1989. Cahalan currently serves on the Advisory Council of the Board of Directors of Stamford Center for the Arts. Cabaret stylist Hilary Kole created, wrote and starred in two highly acclaimed musical revues, Singing Astaire and Our Sinatra in New York City. She has been lauded as a "musical marvel!" (Rex Reed, New York Observer) and The New York Times’ Stephen Holden hailed the "swinging...sultry...sexy with a sharp-edged hint of brass in her voice." Pianist Miles Fusco has been a part of the Stamford artistic community for 20 years. A graduate of The Juilliard School, he subsequently studied in Italy and France and has performed on four continents as piano soloist, chamber musician and with orchestra. He has been the rehearsal pianist for SCA’s annual holiday production of Balanchine’s The Nutcracker since its inception in 1986. F. D. Rich Company has been a national construction and real estate develop-ment company since its founding in 1920. As the major developer of urban Stamford, the Company’s efforts have, in large part, defined the character of 21st century Stamford and transformed it into the State’s most important commercial, financial and cultural center. In 1979, under the leadership of F. D. Rich Company, the Stamford Center for the Arts was founded and F. D. Rich, Jr. served as founding president and is now chairman of the board.
