Stamford, Conn. (May 12, 2008)—Fairfield County real estate owners and managers can learn how to implement eco-friendly practices in facilities management at Southern Connecticut BOMA’s Green Expo. The event will take place on May 29 from 4:30-8pm at High Ridge Park Corporate Center in Stamford.

The expo will showcase green ideas, products, and services that are unique and significant to operating a facility. Exhibitors will share information on eco-friendly alternatives in areas such as cleaning, energy use, water usage, plumbing, construction and mechanical.

“We are always interested in learning more about increasing building efficiency and promoting a healthier environment,” said Jodi Gutierrez, VP of Property Management for George Comfort & Sons and the On-Site Property Manager at High Ridge Park Corporate Center. “This event will be a fantastic way for all area property managers to learn how to make informed choices when it comes to greening their buildings.”

Exhibitors will include American Carrera Tech LLC; New England Mechanical; Ever-Green Interiors; CL&P and Titan Energy; O,R&L; CT Green Building Council; Dennis Rowan Services; United Services/Premier Maintenance & Eastern Bag & Paper; SimplexGrinnell; and 4Elements Group.

“BOMA International is committed to encouraging environmentally-friendly building practices,” said Sharon Moran, Executive Director of Southern Connecticut BOMA. “This event is not a trade show, but rather an informative expo exhibiting new and visionary concepts.”
