Well water informational open house

The City of Stamford will be hosting a Well Water Informational Open House on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. The event will be beneficial to homeowners with wells, allowing them the opportunity to speak with experts from the State and the community.

Information on wells, water testing, and remediation will be provided. There will be a number of agencies and vendors available for consultation including: The Connecticut Department of Public Health, the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, University of Connecticut, Stamford Department of Health and Social Services, and local providers of water testing and filtration systems. This event will give residents the opportunity to ask questions, gather information and be connected to community resources that are available to them.

The Well Water Informational Open House will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Scofield Magnet Middle School, located at 641 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford, CT. The event will run from 5:00pm to 7:30pm and is open to the public.
