Michael Schenker, Uli Jon Roth and Leslie West have been forced to postpone the “3 Guitar Heroes” tour due to insurmountable travel issues. The band was to perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse on October 8.
Legendary MOUNTAIN guitarist Leslie West, who has suffered from diabetes for decades, underwent emergency surgery this past June to amputate a portion of his leg.
Still confined to a wheelchair post-op, there is no way to tour at this time despite a valiant search for a proper vehicle to accommodate West’s needs.
All ticket holders will be contacted by The Ridgefield Playhouse.
Other iconic “guitar heroes” coming to the Playhouse this season include Ronnie Montrose on Wednesday, October 12, Paul Kantner with his 70th Birthday All-Star Bash on Sunday, October 16, Spin Doctors “Pocket Full of Kryptonite” Tour on Saturday, October 22, Yonder Mountain String Band on Sunday, October 23, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood with Neal Casal, Adam MacDougall of the Black Crowes, George Sluppick And Mark "Muddy" Dutton of Burning Tree on Thursday, October 27, The Southern Gentlemen Ed Roland of Collective Soul and Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra on Thursday, October 27, Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman of YES on Wednesday, November 2 and MANZAREK-KRIEGER of The Doors on Sunday, November 6.
