About George Comfort & Sons, Inc.
George Comfort & Sons (GCS), one of New York's oldest and most reputable real estate firms, is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year. Headquartered in NYC, but with properties nationwide, GCS currently manages over 13.5 million square feet of commercial property with ownership interest in seventy percent of those assets.
In 2009, High Ridge Park, a GCS property located in Stamford, began collaborating with ARI on a recycling program. Individuals from ARI go weekly to visit each tenant space and collect deposit bottles and cans. Since then, ARI has collected over 250,000 bottles and cans, raising over $12,500, all while teaching important work skills and introducing ARI consumers to a corporate work environment.
Ms. Jodi Gutierrez, Vice President of Property Management and On-Site Property Manager at High Ridge Park will receive the award on behalf of Peter S. Duncan, President and CEO. Since 1995, under the leadership of Mr. Duncan, GCS has acquired properties totaling more than nine million square feet and added an additional three million square feet to its third-party management portfolio.
