American Red Cross Names New Board Members in Connecticut

FARMINGTON, CT - The American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter recently named three new members to its Board of Directors.

Anne M. Noble, Arisleyda Maldonado Riehl and Jacqueline Pennino Scheib were elected recently. They join a Board that includes women and men from communities across the state.

Anne M. Noble is president and chief executive officer of the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC). Prior to joining CLC, she was a partner at two Connecticut law firms – Robinson & Cole LLP and Pepe & Hazard LLP. She holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo. Other charitable involvement includes 19 years volunteering with the Children’s Law Center of Connecticut, where she currently serves on its Board of Directors. She is a former president of the Connecticut Women’s Council.

Arisleyda Maldonado Riehl is senior financial advisor with Merrill Lynch & Co. Global Wealth Management in Stamford. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Riehl was a financial advisor with JP Morgan Chase. She holds a B.S. from State University of New York at Westbury and a M.B.A. from Hofstra University. Riehl is a member of the Junior League of Greenwich and serves on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Stamford.

Jacqueline Pennino Scheib is a partner with the law firm of Robinson & Cole LLP. Prior to joining Robinson & Cole, Scheib served as a law clerk to Connecticut Supreme Court Justices Richard N. Palmer and Francis M. McDonald. She has a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and a J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Scheib is a past Board member of the Children’s Museum in West Hartford and has served as coach of the Odyssey of the Mind team at Braeburn Elementary School in West Hartford.

American Red Cross Connecticut and Rhode Island Region CEO Mario Bruno said the three new members bring significant resources to the Red Cross Board of Directors. “Anne, Arisleyda and Jacqueline have diverse experiences and skills they bring to the Red Cross. Their leadership will help us to strengthen the Red Cross in Connecticut and continue to meet evolving needs in building resilient communities.”

Bruno said the three new members join a board that provides support and guidance to the Red Cross in Connecticut. “We are fortunate to have the help of these extraordinary leaders who lend their expertise and time to build community resilience in Connecticut.”
