Greenwich, CT - Becker Chicaiza of Becker Salon in Greenwich was one of only a select group of hairdressers from around the globe to attend L’Oréal Professionnel’s World Tour in Australia this fall. The week-long trip, which included special workshops at the new L’Oréal Academy in Melbourne and additional training in Victoria, enabled Chicaiza to work side-by-side with the world’s top hairdressers and learn new trends and techniques to bring to Greenwich.
Intensive hands-on and interactive workshops emphasized new color techniques and formulations, innovative ways of infusing the color in the hair, advanced conditioning methods, plus fresh and unique styling. Always striving to create a natural look without over processing, Chicaiza worked with experts on mixing different formulas - three to four colors in one process - to achieve the best results. He also learned a highly effective technique of massaging the scalp to stimulate the color process.
“It was a great honor to be a part of this incredible program,” said Chicaiza. “I am inspired and excited to bring what I’ve learned to my staff and the people in Greenwich.” Over the past five years, Becker Salon has continually been at the forefront of the latest in haircolor and style. Chicaiza and his staff regularly train in the U.S. and abroad so they can continue to offer a high level of expertise and the most current trends in hair design.
Named one of the five top salons in Greenwich by Beauty & Style Magazine, Becker Salon participates in Fashion Week in New York City, Fashion’s Night Out in Greenwich and fashion events at Saks in Greenwich. Chicaiza and his staff carefully adhere to their mission, which is to highlight the beauty of everyone who enters the salon with the magic touch of their hands.
