Breast Cancer Alliance Walk for Hope in Greenwich is Sunday May 19

Greenwich, CT - On Sunday, May 19th, the Breast Cancer Alliance will host a one-mile walk in Greenwich, starting and ending at Richards, chaired by Caroline Brecker (Greenwich), Julie Genovese (Darien) and Nicole Ewing (Darien.)  “Walk For Hope” welcomes participants of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents, and even dogs dressed in pink!  Tickets are $20 per adult, $10 per student and children under seven are free.  Individuals are welcome to walk alone or in teams and sponsorships are available. 

The morning will feature a complimentary breakfast courtesy of PepsiCo and Z Hospitality Group, hats furnished by Hat Attack/Buji Baja, music, and a taste of healthy living with guests like Ola! Granola, Equinox, and Beauty Counter.  Stamford Hospital’s Mobile Mammography Van will be accommodating women for mammograms who preregister.  Kate Spade and Vineyard Vines on Greenwich Avenue will offer a 10% discount to all who walk, and an additional 10% will be donated to the BCA.  Equinox will welcome you after the Walk for cycling and yoga! Join California Pizza Kitchen for a flavorful FUNdraising event.  Just bring in the flyer distributed at the BCA Walk for Hope on Sunday, May 19, present it to your server, and 20% of your check will be donated to the BCA.  Purchases include dine-in, take-out, catering and all beverages.

The Walk for Hope welcomes registrants at 10:30am, and the Walk itself will begin at 11am.  All proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Alliance.  To register to walk, volunteer or to make a donation online visit:
