As the weather heats up, so too are the deals at Del Webb’s Oxford Greens community.

From June 20 to June 22, Oxford Greens will hold its “Summer Savings Days” sale, during which the luxury active-adult community will offer buyers 10 percent off the price of selected homes. The sale overlaps Del Webb Day, taking place from 1 to 4 p.m. on June 22. The event, featuring a barbecue and live entertainment, is an opportunity for visitors to participate in tennis and golf clinics, take a ballroom dance lesson, speak with a personal trainer in the community fitness center, swim in one of the pools and much more. On this day, prospective buyers are welcome to visit the community’s clubhouse for a chance to experience the Del Webb lifestyle first hand.

“The Del Webb lifestyle is something no other active-adult builder offers — an activities-filled resort-at-home living experience that is second to none,” stated Ronda Gold Margolis, sales manager at Oxford Greens. “During Del Webb Day, active-adult buyers have a chance to experience this lifestyle before purchasing and take advantage of ‘Summer Savings Days’ savings that will only be available for one weekend.”

The region’s premiere active-adult community, Oxford Greens has garnered significant attention from sophisticated adults for offering a comprehensive lifestyle experience.

With over 50 percent of the homes in Phase III already purchased, this exclusive community continues to build upon its tremendous sales pace. In total, over 266 homes have been closed on at The Village at Oxford Greens, offering buyers the unique opportunity to purchase into a new community that is already established and full of life.

A community of detached luxury condominiums that provide over 20 feet of space between each residence, The Village at Oxford Greens is situated on 630 beautifully landscaped acres and is anchored by a 14,000 square foot clubhouse and one of the region’s best 18-hole golf courses. Offering up to 2,883 square feet of open living space, all four of the active-adult community’s floor plans include the desirable feature of master bedrooms on the first floor and stunning views of the golf course.

But what really makes The Village at Oxford Green stand apart from other active-adult communities around the state is the renowned Del Webb lifestyle — a resort-at-home living experience with endless opportunities for recreation and activity.

As part of Del Webb’s unique lifestyle component, the community employs an onsite Lifestyle Director, who schedules daily activities and special events for residents. The crafts rooms, billiards room, multi-purpose room and kitchen are all open daily for Oxford Greens residents.

Residents enjoy preferred access to the Oxford Greens 18-hole, daily-fee golf course. Rated third-best public course in Connecticut, the course offers residents an extraordinary golfing experience. Open since fall of 2004, the Mark Mungeam-designed championship layout features the finest design features and presents five sets of tees for players of all abilities.

Visitors will see that The Village at Oxford Greens’ residences are loaded with Del Webb Signature Standards, such as granite counter tops, maple cabinets and hardwood floors. Other amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center and indoor and outdoor pools. Prices are from the $380,000s.

Many buyers are drawn to Oxford Greens because of the community’s location. Ideally situated halfway between New York and Boston, and a short drive from most of Connecticut's major metropolitan areas, Oxford Greens provides residents with an unlimited supply of social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Located on Country Club Drive in Oxford, Conn., the community is near many of the region’s major thoroughfares, including Route 67, Route 34 and Route 188. Often referred to as the Naugatuck River Valley's "Little Piece of Heaven," Oxford offers significant recreational opportunities at its three state parks — Kettletown State Park, Naugatuck State Forest and Southford Falls State Park — as well as swimming and boating on beautiful Lake Zoar.

Oxford Greens Café provides on-site dining, while many other restaurants, including 121 Restaurant, Rolando’s, Leo’s, Oxford House and Rose’s are just minutes away. Also in close proximity are a supermarket, various clothing stores and boutiques.

For more information, call 203-888-3582 or visit www.Delwebb.com. The Oxford Greens sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
