During a breakfast hosted by Family Centers on June 9, CNBC Financial Anchor Maria Bartiromo said that while the road may be bumpy over the coming months, the U.S. economy will emerge from the downward financial spiral.
“Balance sheets will get smaller and jobs will be cut,” she said. “But this is a very resilient country, and we’ll get through it.”
More than 260 members of the Greater Fairfield County Business community came out to the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich to hear Bartiromo’s take on the global financial landscape and what businesses, nonprofits and individuals can expect. The event raised more than $40,000 for Family Centers’ programs that assist individuals and adults achieve a greater sense of self-sufficiency.
