The Connecticut Community Nonprofit Alliance recently received a generous $5,000 donation from GoodWorks Financial Group in New Milford through Wheeler & Taylor Insurance, a GoodWorks Financial member.

GoodWorks donates to nonprofit program sponsors 20 percent of the revenue it earns on insurance coverage bought by Alliance members, their employees, volunteers and donors.

“GoodWorks has shown again their commitment to support community nonprofits in Connecticut. Their commitment is commendable and we very much appreciate their contribution to the state’s nonprofit community,” said Alliance Vice President of Administration and Finance Paul Giguere.

Based in Hartford, the Alliance represents more than 300 community nonprofits across the state.

“We support the nonprofit community in Connecticut, and nonprofits support us by using our services for their employees’ insurance needs,” said GoodWorks Financial Group Senior Vice President Ed Ryan. “It’s a great fit and a win for everyone.”
