Hartford, CT - Nancy DiNardo, chairwoman of Connecticut Democratic Party released the following statement on Jerry Labriola’s reaction to the Govenror’s State of the State address delivered today before the General Assembly.
“On a day when the Governor spoke eloquently and passionately about the worst tragedy to befall our state in its history, chairman Labriola’s comments are crass, ill-timed, and un-warranted, “ said DiNardo.
“The Governor repeatedly called for collaboration and unity in his State of the State address. Unlike the Governor, Chairman Labriola continues to focus on what divides us, reflecting everything the voters of Connecticut rejected in 2012.”
