CTWorks Career Coach award given to librarian of the Norwalk Public Library

The Norwalk Public Library is proud to announce that the ConnecticutWorks Career Coach recognized Reference Librarian Susannah Violino with a special award for her work and efforts to promote the services of the Career Coach. This special award read:

"In recognition of your hard work and dedication, you have been selected by Career Coach to receive a 2009 WorkPlace Individual Partner of the Year Award." The award was presented at the WorkPlace Annual Awards Ceremony Wed. June 17 at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport.

In addition to her responsibilities as Reference Librarian, Susannah Violino also coordinates the "Books Sandwiched In" monthly book club, as well as organizing several other special activities.

Staff from ConnecticutWorks provide free general assistance with job searching including resume writing, and online job applications .

The ConnecticutWorks van will be on Mott Avenue outside the Library on July 20 from 10 am to 12 noon and again at 1 pm to 3 pm to continue its popular free Job Search Assistance to the public.
