Before the screening, the cinematographer of the film, Christo Bakalov, of New Milford, was awarded the Connecticut Film Festival Award for Artistic Excellence in Cinematography. After the projection, the writer and leading actress of the movie, Namrata Singh Gujral, which was also chosen to receive the CT Film Festival Best Female Actor award, talked about her work and answered questions from the audience.
