Copper Beech Inn names director of sales

Ivoryton, CT - Owner Ian S. Phillips of the Copper Beech Inn, the intimate country inn located in Essex, has named Susan Norz as Director of Sales.

Norz has been working in the hospitality industry for over twenty years, starting at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as a National Sales Manager, and the Four Seasons Boston as Sales Manager. Norz also worked in New York at the Ritz-Carlton as Director of Business Travel and Camberley Hotel Company as the Regional Vice President of Sales.

Norz left New York to come to Connecticut, holding the position of Executive Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing at the AAA Five-Diamond Mayflower Hotel in Washington, Connecticut. From there, Norz went to the Saybrook Point Inn and Spa in Old Saybrook working as Director of Sales.

Norz comes most recently from the New York Palace in New York City, where she worked as the Director of Group Sales, bringing multi-million dollar success to the hotel. At the Palace, Norz commanded territories from New York to the Mid-Atlantic States, and brought over fifty new accounts to the hotel.
