Greenwich, CT - China’s rapid rise from a poverty-stricken nation to a global economic powerhouse is considered by many to be the one of the greatest success stories in modern times. While increased trade relations with China have positively influenced the United States’ financial picture, most analysts believe China has the strength to overtake the U.S. as the world’s largest economy within 20 years.
On Friday, Nov. 4, former Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger will share his expert perspective on the global impact of China’s emerging economy and discuss his latest book, On China, during a luncheon benefitting Family Centers. The event will take place from 12-2 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Greenwich.
Tickets start at $200, and proceeds will support Family Centers’ 30 human service and education programs. Several exciting sponsorship opportunities – which include a semi-private reception with Dr. Kissinger – are also available. For information and tickets, visit www.familycenters.org or call 203-869-4848.
