FCPRA meeting: Achieving business results through emotional intelligence

STAMFORD, CT - As communicators we know the importance of appealing to emotions. When we manage them appropriately, we can transform our relationships, businesses, organizations and the community.

Join the Fairfield County Public Relations Association and emotional intelligence expert Neerja Arora Bhatia on Wednesday, February 29 for a thought-provoking workshop designed to provide insight into how to use emotions as a tool for optimizing productivity, focus and personal motivation. Attendees will learn how to:

- Understand emotions
- Deal with communication bottlenecks and constantly changing priorities
- Channel emotions positively for full engagement and increased productivity

Bhatia has more than 15 years of experience in business development, marketing and training. A dynamic public speaker, she is known for creating a life-altering experience by helping individuals see through the not so obvious to the root cause of problems. Her clients have included GE, Philips International, Boehringer Ingleheim, Schering Plough, Covidien and Eileen Fischer. Bhatia is the author of two books, Art of Resilience and Bliss is in Knowing the Self. She has been nominated for Serendipity Magazine’s 2012 Fairfield and Westchester’s Best of Everything issue.


Join the FCPRA on Wednesday, February 29 at Bank Street Events, 65 Bank Street in Stamford. Networking will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the breakfast program runs from 8:00-9:00 a.m. The cost is $35 for member pre-registrants and $45 for non-member pre-registrants.
