Thanks to Members of the Belltown Fire Department in Stamford, the Fairway Market in Stamford will be hosting a Shopping Night on Wednesday, August 6th from 4 to 10 pm to support The Stamford Fire Safety Foundation Fund, Inc.

Belltown firefighters recently competed in the Fourth Annual Firefighter Food Face-Off grilling competition at the Fairway Market on July 19th and won first-place against the Noroton Heights Fire Department, the Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol and the Westport Fire Department. Belltown Firefighters won a $500 gift card to use for their firehouse and also a special Shopping Night that will give 25% of all sales from registered customers who shop between 4 and 10 pm to the Stamford Fire Safety Foundation Fund, Inc.

The Stamford Fire Safety Foundation Fund, Inc. is a public charity run by Stamford Firefighters that raises funds to provide free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire prevention education materials, and to support public life safety initiatives within the City of Stamford, CT.

To participate in the Shopping Night, Fairway customers can simply register at an in-store table to receive the form that they’ll present to the cashier when they’re checking out.

"We are extremely grateful to the Members of the Belltown Fire Department for choosing the Stamford Fire Safety Foundation Fund as their charity and to Fairway Market for hosting this event. Their continued support is crucial in continuing the success of the Detector Installation Program and other Prevention Programs within the City of Stamford. Together, we can make a difference....."
Stamford Fire Captain and Director of the Stamford Fire Safety Foundation Fund, Matt Palmer
