Friends of Ferguson sponsors 25th Annual Literary Competition

The Friends of Ferguson is sponsoring its 25th annual Stamford Literary Competition for students in grades 3 – 12. Students who attend public or private school in Stamford or who live in Stamford are invited to enter original fiction, non-fiction or poetry. Winners are selected in each category by grade level. Last year, a record 570 students submitted their work.

Entry forms are available at the Main Library and branches, through the schools and on the Friends website, www.friendsoffergusonlibrary.org. Entries are due by February 12. Winners will be notified by mail in mid April, and will be honored with a reception in late April or early May.
