High Ridge Park Corporate Center is seeking sponsors for the Inaugural Stamford March of Dimes March for Babies. The office park is planning and hosting the event which will be held May 3, 2009.

The March of Dimes is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The March for Babies aims to raise money to help the March of Dimes in its effort to save babies' lives. The proceeds help the organization fund research regarding premature births.

“Sponsors are a crucial part of not-for-profit events,” said Jodi Gutierrez, VP of Property Management for George Comfort & Sons and On-Site Property Manager of High Ridge Park Corporate Center. “Contributing sponsors are the reason events like these are feasible. We want to hold an incredible event to benefit the March of Dimes and will work hard to create a win-win for our sponsors.”

High Ridge Park is also looking for a local vendor to supply food at the March for Babies.

Benefits of sponsorship include: access to more than 500 walkers in Stamford; the opportunity for a company representative to speak at pre-event and opening ceremonies on day of event; company logo on banner displayed at the Start/Finish line; company logo or name on T- Shirts; the opportunity for one prominently positioned tent at the March site and more. The level of sponsorship benefit is dependent on level of gift.

To become a sponsor for the March for Babies or for more information, please contact Jodi Gutierrez at (203) 322-0325 or jgutierrez@gcomfort.com.
