Are you new to the Hartford area? Recently relocated here for a job? Or returning here after some time away? Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH) has the perfect program for you. The Executive Orientation Program offered by LGH provides an excellent opportunity for senior level executives who are new to the area, to get acclimated to Hartford and the region. Over a 4-week period, participants are introduced to the leaders, issues, opportunities and dynamics of Greater Hartford.

During each of the 5 sessions, participants are introduced to local business owners, developers, nonprofit executives, arts leaders, and community organizers as they learn about Hartford’s current issues and fascinating history. Through these exchanges participants explore the future of our diverse city and explore how they can play a part in its development.

“This was a very informative and engaging program that gave a wonderful view of the city’s personalities- both its neighborhoods and civic leaders,” said Wendy Warring, Senior Vice President & COO of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. “It was a great opportunity as well to meet interesting individuals with whom one might never interact. Terrific food too!”

The 2010 Executive Orientation Program will be offered in five four-hour sessions each week beginning with a Saturday morning session May 1. For more information about the program or for an application contact Katy Bannister at 860.951.6161 x18 or by email at katy.bannister@leadershipgh.org.

Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH) is one of the largest nonprofit community-based leadership organizations in the country.
