HARTFORD, CT - State Senator Carlo Leone (D-Stamford) announced today that both houses of the General Assembly have voted to approve the nomination of multiple Stamford residents to serve in various positions in the judicial and executive branches of the state government.
“I am always pleased to see residents of Stamford appointed to assume positions of prominence in our state government. Governor Malloy has made excellent selections in each of these five individuals, who will serve our city well by bringing our local perspective to bear on issues of statewide importance. Each is a leader in their respective field, and their experience will lend considerable credence to the performance of their positions,” said Senator Leone.
The nominations include:
Jody Murray Gregg to be a Workers’ Compensation Commissioner
David H. Hendricks to be a Member of the Metro North New Haven Rail Commuter Council
Juanita T. James to be a Member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Connecticut
Anthony Truglia, Esq. to be a Judge of the Superior Court
Michelle D. Truglia to be a Workers’ Compensation Commissioner
