NORWALK, CT - Just bring a can of food and you can workout at Fairfield County's leading kettlebell boot camp from November 25-26 for free. Stefanie Tropea, co-owner of Punch Kettlebell Gym of Norwalk calls them “Turkey-Busting Workouts” because they burn off those monstrous calories we all consume on Thanksgiving.

“This is our second annual Thanksgiving Boot Camp,” says Tropea. “Last year we raised 215 pounds of food that was donated to The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, and we hope to collect and donate more this year.”

Punch Kettlebell Gym of Norwalk is open to all local residents and their family and friends on: Friday, November 25th at 8:00am, 9:00am 10:00am and 11:00am, and Saturday, November 26th at 7:15am, 9:00am and 11:00am. The cost of admission is just one can of food (preferably vegetables), otherwise it’s completely free to everyone who wants a great workout with fun people.

“All that we ask is that folks register in advance at www.punchgymnorwalk.viprespond.com/thanksgivingbootcamp so we can be sure we have enough equipment on hand to accommodate everyone,” says Tropea. “Boot camp is perfect for all folks regardless of age or fitness level – we make everyone feel welcome and customize the workouts so everybody gets what they need.”

Punch Kettlebell Gym of Norwalk's Second Annual Turkey-Busting Workouts will be held at Punch Kettlebell Gym of Norwalk, 345 Main Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851.

“We anticipate a bigger turnout this year because folks enjoy working out with family, friends and friendly people, and because we’re supporting a great cause, The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful family and friends holiday, and a time to show our appreciation for all we have, especially our health, and help others who are less fortunate at the same time,” explains Tropea.
