Stamford, CT - Patriot National Bank is pleased to be the title sponsor of the Pirates’ Coast Adventure at this year’s Norwalk Oyster Festival. Children, ages 5-12 who are dressed in pirate garb and accompanied by an adult with a paid admission ticket, will get free admission to the festival on Pirates’ Day (Saturday, September 11th), courtesy of Patriot National Bank.

The waterfront at Veteran’s Park will be transformed into the days of yore , harkening back to 1650-1750, when pirates ruled the seas! There will be realistic demonstrations, live parrots, bawdy buccaneers singing and dancing, treasure hunts and photo opportunities throughout the weekend with a special Pirates’ Parade & Pirate Costume Contest at 3pm on Saturday. Everyone is welcome to help world champion sand sculptor Alan Matsumoto create coins for the 7-foot high pirate treasure chest sculpture he will be building. Patriot will also be giving out children’s pirate’s hats at the Coast Adventure, while supplies last.

It is Patriot National Bank’s mission to offer a significant community-based alternative to larger banks and to provide personalized service to consumers and local businesses. Nationally chartered in 1994, Patriot National Bank currently has nineteen full-service branches serving Southern Connecticut, Westchester County, New York and New York City.
