Members of the Stamford Professional Fire Fighters Association (SPFFA) have reelected Fire Fighter Brendan Keatley to a 4th term as President of the city’s career fire union. Keatley, a 17-year fire department veteran, was first elected to the position in 2005. The Stamford Professional Fire Fighters Association represents the city’s fire fighters from the rank of Fire Fighter to Deputy Fire Chief.

Union members re-elected all incumbents and board members, including: SPFFA Vice President David Davis, a 22 year SFRD veteran; SPFFA Secretary Victor Rella; Treasurer Charles Cackowski; and Legislative Representative Fire Captain Paul Newman. The SPFFA Executive Board members include Miguel Robles, John Sierra, Dan Hunsberger, Kyle Pelley and Tom Gloerson.

The Stamford Professional Fire Fighters Association lead numerous safety initiatives in the community including an annual holiday toy drive, participation and sponsorship of sports leagues year round for Stamford’s youth, and supporting several local and national non-profit organizations.

“The dedication and focus of my fellow fire fighters is what keeps our city so safe. I am proud to work alongside such incredible people and honored that they re-elected me to serve them as President,” said Brendan Keatley. “I would like to thank my colleagues for their unwavering support.”
