STAMFORD, CT. A growing business and residential center, Stamford is well overdue for a magazine. This just changed.

Stamford Plus magazine is a new high quality glossy publication for the Stamford area that is covering a wide array of aspects of the city’s lifestyle.

The magazine aims at creating a media forum for Stamford-bound professionals that enhances their sense of community and social leadership. Main departments of the publication are business, art, lifestyle, health, travel, nightlife, food, fun and calendar.

Highlights of this issue include: an overview of the new Landmark Square project and the new mall wing; a winter family fun guide; a feature about the new conductor of the Stamford Symphony Orchestra, Eckart Preu; job-saving tips on how to behave at the office Christmas Party; and an article about plants that can raise humidity in your home during the dry winter months.

The magazine will also promote its own website, Stamfordplus.com, with an up-to-date community calendar, announcements, blogs, articles and other features for online users from Stamford and beyond.

Select businesses and residents of the city will receive a complimentary copy of the first edition of the magazine in the first week of December, 2005.

The main target audience of Stamford Plus are professional men and women between 25 and 45 years of age that live or work in Stamford and have above-average lifestyle.

Stamford Plus magazine is published quarterly by Canaiden LLC, 800 Summer Street, Ste513, Stamford, CT and has a cover price of $2.95 with discounted annual subscription option.
