Televersemedia and American Strongman Corporation (ASC) announced that they will be co-developing a new American Strongman television series. Chris Crowley Executive Producer of Televerse Sports will be working with the ASC team on the joint venture for 2009. “Bringing the American Strongman brand to television has been a dream of mine for several years,” commented ASC President, Dione Wessels, “I know Chris, have seen his work in the “sports” genre, and I am extremely excited about this project.”
Chris Crowley is a two-time Emmy Award winner and an eight-time Emmy nominee. He has produced for numerous television networks including: CBS, NBC, ESPN, MSG, OLN/ Versus and Voom HD. Chris has written, produced and directed a variety of shows ranging from Skiing, Figure Skating, Sailing, Surfing, Cycling, Adventure Racing, IFSA Strongman, and Reality.
American Strongman Corporation (ASC) and Televersemedia recently announced their partnership with the intention to bring American Strongman to television in the United States. “Although network negotiations are underway, one thing is clear; the opportunities for American Strongman athletes will be greater then ever before,” said ASC President Dione Wessels.
On the heels of this recent announcement, the United States Patent and Trademark Office officially released today the title “America’s Strongest Man®” would be exclusive to American Strongman Corporation. Chris Crowley, Executive Producer of the ASC project stated, “It is nice to see an American company taking hold of “America’s Strongest Man®.” This sport is truly a great American pastime and Televersemedia is excited to be bringing ASC to national television audiences.”
