NEW CANAAN, CT - Ladies Who Launch will host an event featuring Ashley Hall, M.A., and Victim Specialist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the New Haven office.

Her scope of work in the FBI includes providing a variety of services to victims of federal crimes, including bank robberies, sex trafficking, child pornography and white collar crime. Prior to joining to FBI in 2011, Ms. Hall worked closely with local and state police in Rhode Island, providing services to victims of crime and responding to critical incidents. Most recently, Ms. Hall provided extensive services to the Sandy Hook shooting. As a result of her work there, she was awarded two prestigious awards - the 2013 FBI Director’s Award for Distinguished Service for Assisting Victims of Crime, and the 2013 Attorney General’s Award for Outstanding Contributions by a New Employee.

Kathy McShane, Managing Director of Ladies Who Launch in Connecticut, stated that “It’s important for us to be informed about as many aspects of society as possible. Ms. Hall will share with us a side of society that we may not know much about. This will give us an opportunity to hear firsthand about these things and the audience will be able to ask questions.”

The event will be held at Walin & Wolff, 36 Elm Street, New Canaan, CT on Thursday, May 15th 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Food and beverages will be served. To register go to http://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-visit-from-the-fbi-tickets-1120141473

Seating is limited.
