The Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center (KTM&HC) is abuzz with activity for its 2nd not-to-be-missed Fall Party. And although it will be the coolest place to be on September 14th, the underlying reason for the party cannot be overstated.
For many years KTM&HC has been a gathering place where people enjoy each other’s company while immersing themselves in over 300 years of local and regional history. It is also a living classroom for students throughout Fairfield County. Each year KTM&HC offers nearly 2,500 students Pre-K through Grade 12, including Title 1 schools in Danbury and Bridgeport, full-day, immersive, curriculum-aligned school programs in social studies, humanities, and civics.
According to Hildegard Grob, executive director at KTM&HC, “We collaborate with classroom teachers to develop programs that fit their student’s needs for understanding history and civics using our historic site, stories, and resources. It’s a true partnership and we are always ready to help teachers create unique and exciting experiences for their students. We couldn’t do it without the funds raised through the Fall Party.”

The Fall Party invites people to unwind in a fun atmosphere filled with spirited music, elegant food, local drinks, games, a live and silent auction, and more. The Fall Party Committee, comprised of the ever-enthusiastic Christine Boris, Josh Fischer, Jenn Hansen, and Lisa Terry will take the party to new heights this year in the lush Sunken Garden and Garden House, classic Carriage Barn, historic House Museum, and brand-new state-of-the-art Visitor Center. If last year’s inaugural party is any indication, September 14th promises to be a magical night.
