The Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk, Inc. (JLSN) will offer information sessions in January for women interested in becoming members of this non-profit, women’s volunteer organization. The Spring Provisional classes begin on January 19th, 2010.

“The Information Sessions are a great way for women to learn about the opportunities that membership in the League offers. During the session we will provide an overview of the unique training we provide our members, our rich history of community service and the important community programs our volunteers support today,” said Stephanie Fairleigh, JLSN President. “The sessions offer a casual, social atmosphere where women can explore their interest in membership by visiting with current members, asking questions, and learning firsthand how we make a difference in our communities.”

Information sessions will be held on the following dates:

• Thursday, January 7, at the Gingerman in South Norwalk, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, January 12, at JLSN Headquarters, 748 Post Road, Darien, 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.
• Thursday, January 14, at Butterfield 8 in Stamford, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Additional information can be obtained upon RSVP to the League office at (203) 655-4662, via email at JLSN@snet.net or at our website www.jlsn.org.

Since 1923, the JLSN has served Stamford, Norwalk and their surrounding towns, and has continually responded to community needs.
