Bridgeport, CT - The Watermark at 3030 Park is pleased to announce that student artwork from nearby Sacred Heart University’s (SHU) Department of Art & Design will be on display at the retirement community now through April 11.

The public is invited to an opening reception on Thursday, February 28th at 7:30 p.m. inside the art gallery at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line. Vocalist and keyboard player Gary Andreadis will perform at the event.

“The opportunity for young artists to exhibit outside of the university is always an exciting experience,” said Professor Nathan Lewis, Assistant Professor of Art at SHU. “The Watermark at 3030 Park has always supported our program and students, and we are thrilled to exhibit again at the community.”

This is the third time that student artists from SHU have displayed at The Watermark at 3030 Park. In 2010 and 2011, the community partnered with SHU for similar exhibits.

The Watermark at 3030 Park’s art gallery is open to the public Monday through Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday from 8am-5pm.
