Hartford, CT - The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) is pleased to announce that attorneys David Bogan and Heather Spaide have been selected to serve on its Board of Directors. The new additions to the CCADV Board join an existing team of 16 led by newly elected President Sandy Alderi; Vice President Sharayu Tulpule; Secretary Derrick Gordon; and Treasurer Amber Tucker.

Both David and Heather have demonstrated an on-going commitment to protecting victims. Both will be valuable contributors to our statewide organization."
David Bogan, Esq. heads the Utilities Group of the 200-plus-attorney law firm Robinson & Cole, where he focuses his practice on all aspects of public utility regulation before administrative agencies and state and federal courts. Mr. Bogan began his legal career as a staff attorney for the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control and, subsequently, the Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel. His private practice experience includes serving as Connecticut counsel to several water companies; the nation's largest cable company, Comcast, for over 15 years; and the largest wireless telecommunications corporation, Verizon Wireless and its predecessors, for over 20 years.
Heather Spaide, Esq. is the Founder and Executive Director of The RAE Law Group, a private non-profit law practice dedicated to promoting, enforcing, and advocating for the rights of victims and survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, and sexual exploitation. Ms. Spaide spent just over 4 years working as a litigator for Connecticut law firms prior to launching The RAE Law Group. She is a 2006 graduate of The University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, magna cum laude, where she became a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received the Joshua L. Greenberg award for Excellence in Legal Studies.
