The Human Services Council has been serving children and young adults in mid-Fairfield County for over 65 years and the organizations asked two local companies to work together and provide the services to create the website as a pro-bono project. Paul Zullo of Silver Creative Group, South Norwalk, CT and HSC board director teamed up with Michael Bud from Square Squared in Westport to create the new website.

Silver Creative Group focused on the branding and design elements of the site, while Square Squared handled the programming. The goal was to produce a site that educated the community about all of the programs HSC offers, keeps the community up-to-date with current news and events and also portray the non-profit as an agile, comprehensive and contemporary organization.

"While HSC has been around for over 6 decades, it is very much in-step with what is happening in our community today. Our goal was to create a website and a brand that expressed this modern and energetic organization properly."

Silver Creative Group, an award winning design and communications firm based in South Norwalk has helped many high profile firms and their products, but the group is extremely proud to help the Human Services Council.  While working with local real estate developers and nationally distributed brands is exciting, the group is thrilled to provide their design and marketing talents pro-bono to such a worthy organization.

The collaboration of two local and competing companies is a testament of how HSC brings the community together. Square Squared was brought in to handle the programming based on their experience with several local companies and their clean design sensibility. The new site provides a great deal more information about the programs HSC runs and also offers success stories, a gallery and calendar of events. The entire site can be managed by the HSC staff without the need of any programming knowledge– anyone on the HSC staff can change text, upload images and create new pages.   Specializing in website design, search engine optimization and marketing, print material, and web and print advertising, Square Squared offers a unique formula for creating a professional appeal and generating increased exposure to clients locally as well as nationally.

"We are proud to support HSC and contribute to our local community while working on a team with another local agency. The symphony of our three organizations enabled us to create a real work of art for HSC. Our objective was to stay true to the new vision of a clean and updated design while implementing a framework and structure that would allow HSC to maintain their pages internally as easily as possible. We are confident that the new website will help HSC spread their message with up to date information more efficiently and effectively.”
