GREENWICH, CT - Following its successful charity warehouse sale, Two’s Company – a nationwide distributor of giftware and home accessories – recently presented Family Centers with a donation of over $23,000.
Family Centers was one of two area nonprofit organizations to benefit from Two’s Company’s annual Warehouse Sale. For five days in December, thousands of people flocked to the company’s Elmsford, NY warehouse for deep discounts on everything from jewelry to furniture.
Twenty-five percent of the sale’s proceeds were donated to Family Centers to assist people facing a crisis, long term unemployment or other life-altering situations.
“In these difficult economic times, we are seeing more and more people struggling with a crisis, long term unemployment or other life-altering situation,” said Family Centers’ President Bob Arnold. “This donation allows Family Centers to provide much needed support to many of our area’s most vulnerable children, adults and families. We thank Two’s Company, its staff and all the shoppers who made this year’s Warehouse Sale such a success.”
“We are thrilled to be able to make this donation and that it will be used to help support families in need,” added Two’s Company President Tom Gottlieb. “It is our distinct honor to help the organization take another step toward achieving their mission.”
