Visual Concepts drives it home

Visual Concepts Media Inc., the Windsor, CT-based leader in web development and video production, has produced eleven one-and-a half-minute animated videos for the Callaway Golf Company, to help introduce the company’s new product line to the trade and to consumers.

The videos, which highlight the features and benefits of Callaway Golf’s new 2008 product line (including nine new clubs and two new golf balls), were presented at the company’s national sales meeting in September, and major account meetings in October and November. The videos made their public debut in January 2008 at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando , and are now viewable at www.callawaygolf.com.

“New product innovation is vital in the golf industry and nobody does it better than Callaway Golf,” said Visual Concepts President, Steve Shaw. “This is the second year that they’ve asked us to assist in their national launch efforts, a testament to our two decades of experience in the golf industry.”

The videos were scripted by Visual Concepts producers, who then conducted a nationwide casting call for voice talent. The Visual Concepts animation team also used a variety of animation software tools, as well as custom music and sound design, to help bring the new products to life.
