WATERBURY, CT - Webster Bank has awarded the Housing Development Fund (HDF) a $7,500 grant. This will help support HDF’s role in counseling first time homebuyer workshops and making available its “Live Where You Work” second-mortgage product to first-time homebuyers who’d like to purchase a home in the historic Hillside neighborhood in Waterbury, Conn.
Webster has been a supporter and lender to HDF for more than seven years, including its affordable housing program and its SmartMove second-mortgage loan program.
Robin Gallagher, senior vice president, Commercial Real Estate Lending, is the chair of the HDF board.
