What started as an underground workout among elite athletes is now gaining ground among the average frustrated gym goer looking for something different

Stamford, CT - Getting to the gym is hard. Actually getting in a good workout is even harder. Most people start off with good intentions but quickly become bored and unmotivated. CrossFit Stamford co-owner, Kristie Bickler describes the program as "a strength and conditioning program with an emphasis on peer support."

The workouts at CrossFit Stamford are short, under 45 minutes per class, yet the work accomplished in that time is far greater than what most gym goers accomplish in twice the time. "We've found that by having our members work together in teams to complete a workout that the energy and intensity level goes through the roof", says Andy Parker co-owner. It's the camaraderie and support from each other that sets our program apart from the rest.

The gym posts all of the workouts and member's results on their blog to keep track of their progress. You never know what type of workout you'll be doing on any given day.

The program is set up to encourage friendly competition, but ultimately members are working to improve on past results and in the end get in the best shape of their lives.

Classes are scheduled throughout the week at various times throughout the day.
