Stamford, CT—The 15th Annual ARI Lotstein/Martin Golf Tournament took place on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Sterling Farms Golf Course. The event exceeded all expectations raising over $45,000 that will benefit programs that support adults with disabilities. The highlight of the event was auctioneer Bennett Salvatore. Stamford Resident and NBA Referee Bennett Salvatore assisted in making the auction the most successful in years. Bennett Salvatore brought comedy and personal experience to the event while asking attendees to help support ARI.

The event brought 110 golfers and was sponsored by over 40 businesses and individuals, both exceeding last year’s numbers. This year’s event had three major sponsors—West High Service Station, Stamford Hospital, and Seaboard Weatherproofing & Restoration.

“Overall the event was a success,” says Matthew Reyher, ARI President & CEO. “We would like to thank each and every individual and business that helped make it happen. It is great to see such a large turnout. Events like this one help us achieve our mission.”

ARI of Connecticut, Inc. will next be holding its 2nd Annual Fall Comedy Night and dinner. This event will take place on Saturday, October 23rd at the Hibernian Hall beginning from 6:30-11:00pm. Once again the event will include a silent/live auction, full open bar, happy hour, dinner buffet and dessert to go along with a comedy show produced by Treehouse Comedy. Individual tickets will cost $150 and $250 for couples. Also available are table sponsorships and ads for the event journal ranging from $150 to $3,500. All proceeds from the event will benefit programs that support adults with disabilities. For more information, contact Gerard J.
