BRIDGEPORT, CT - Harbor Yard Sports & Entertainment announced today that four of the top women’s NCAA college basketball teams in the nation are in the Bridgeport regional bracket, including #1 seed Connecticut.
Single-session tickets are now available for the Bridgeport Regional of the 2013 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship, which will take place on March 30 and April 1 at the Webster Bank Arena.
The other top draws in the Bridgeport bracket are #2 seed Kentucky, #3 seed North Carolina and #4 seed Maryland. Quinnipiac University in Hamden is seeded #13.
“The ability for fans to come see an NCAA tournament game at the price we are offering is outstanding,” Howard Saffan, President of Harbor Yard Sports & Entertainment, said. “Our building is one of a kind, with the latest additions of the digital scoreboard and the 800-foot ribbon board. With half of the building's tickets already sold, single-session tickets are available for purchase starting at $34.50 for adults and $29.50 for students and senior citizens, with end zone single-session tickets available at $24.50 for adults and $19.50 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased by logging onto the Ticketmaster web site or www.ncaa.com/tickets. Fans can also purchase single-session tickets by visiting the Webster Bank Arena box office or by calling 800-745-3000.

The regional semifinals on Saturday, March 30 will tip-off at 12:00 p.m. and approximately 2:30 p.m. Monday's regional final is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

Fairfield and the Webster Bank Arena has previously hosted the Bridgeport Regional of the 2006 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship in addition to the first- and second-round games of the 2004, 2008 and 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship, the East Regional of the 2009, 2011 and 2012 NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Championship, the 2011 Spark Energy MAAC Basketball Championships and the 2007 Bank of America MAAC Basketball Championships.
