POUND RIDGE, NY - Pound Ridge Golf Club – the public Pete Dye-design in the heart of Westchester County – introduces a new practice range program as an additional service to customers.

Weather permitting, players can enjoy unlimited range balls on Pound Ridge’s practice range for $40 per person, per hour. Availability is 12 to 3:30 p.m., seven days a week. Golfers can hit unlimited range balls and also play nine holes of golf (including use of cart) for $50 after 2 p.m.

“Our region has experienced mild temperatures and exceptional conditions this fall,” says Ken Wang, Pound Ridge owner. “The new practice range program allows our golfers to extend the golf season and work on their games during mild winter days.”

Located under an hour from New York City and minutes from White Plains, Stamford and Greenwich, the course is one of the most easily accessed in the region. Pound Ridge is quintessential Dye, exhibiting all his renowned design qualities: drama, beauty, rhythm, challenge, deception and subtlety. In an area graced by many of the country’s greatest traditional layouts, Pound Ridge is intrinsically modern, reflecting the best of contemporary golf course design.

Since opening in 2008, Pound Ridge has earned world-class accolades from Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, Golfweek, AskMen.com, Rolex and LINKS Magazine. It quickly emerged as a “destination golf course,” sought out by serious golfers collecting the world’s best golf experiences.
