The Department of Parks and Recreation announces the date for its organizational meeting for the Women’s Softball Leagues. Teams that are interested in entering one of the leagues must attend the pre-season meeting.

The meeting for both Women’s Resident and Industrial Teams will be held on Thursday, March 25th at 6:30 pm in the Cone Conference Room 2nd floor, Town Hall on Field Point Road.

Industrial Teams are comprised of employees working full time at a Greenwich based company. This company must sponsor the team. Resident League Teams are comprised of Greenwich residents and players who were past residents for at least five (5) years and qualify for “exempt status.”

League organization, rules, fees, eligibility, and playing dates are among the many items to be discussed at this important meeting.
