Bluefish reduce ticket pricing for 2014 season

Bridgeport, CT - The Bridgeport Bluefish have announced a new, affordable single game ticket pricing structure for the 2014 season that lowers the price of most game tickets. The team has added an advanced purchase option along with new pricing for weekday and weekend games, and a Kids/Senior discount for weekend contests.

“The Bluefish have always been the most affordable entertainment option in Fairfield County. We’ve listened to our guests’ opinions, and we believe that our new ticket pricing structure is a great and affordable way for them to join us at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in 2014,” says Bluefish general manager Ken Shepard. “The addition of our advanced purchase discount, along with a reduced price for weekday games and a Kids/Senior discount on weekends makes it more convenient for ticket purchasers to attend a Bluefish game.”

The Bluefish will once again offer one of the most affordable entertainment options in the area. Individual ticket prices for weekday games (Monday – Thursday) are $11.00 for Box Seats ($13.50 in 2013) and $9.00 for Reserved Seats ($10.00 in 2013) on the day of the game. The advanced ticket price for weekday games is $10.00 for Box Seats. Pricing for weekend games (Friday – Sunday) are $14.00 for Box Seats and $11.00 for Reserved Seats on the day of the game. The Kids/Senior discount for weekends is $13.00 for Box Seats. Advanced ticket prices for weekend games are $12.00 for Box Seats. Advanced ticket purchases must be completed one day prior to the date of the game.

Ticket plans are also a great way to enjoy Bluefish baseball all summer long. They offer flexibility and help fans choose the games that are most convenient for them. This season, the Bluefish are offering a 12-game Friends & Family Flex Plan for $120 per Box Seat ($140 in 2013) and $100 per Reserved Seat. The team also has a Saturday Six Pack available for $72 per Box Seat and $54 per Reserved Seat and a Friday Four Pack that goes for $48 per Box Seat and $40 per Reserved Seat.

For those true Bluefish and baseball lovers out there, the ‘Fish have also reduced season ticket pricing for the 2014 season. A Box Seat Season Ticket is only $700 for 70 home games ($770 in 2013).

The Ticket Office is now open on non-game days, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During game days this season, the Ticket Office will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. until the end of the game and Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m. until the conclusion of the game.

This season the Bluefish will play 70 regular season home games. Games begin at 7:05 p.m. every Monday through Friday, 6:05 p.m. on Saturday and 1:05 p.m. each Sunday. This season’s schedule will once again include the ever popular school and camp days. The school days are scheduled for May 14 and May 28, with both games beginning at 10:35 a.m., while camp day will appear on July 9 starting at 11:00 a.m. In addition, the Bluefish will play one more specially scheduled games in 2013. The Monday, September 1 Labor Day tilt will commence at 1:05 p.m. The ‘Fish will also host two day/night doubleheaders during the upcoming season. The first double-dip is scheduled for Saturday, July 19 with the first game beginning at 1:05 p.m. and the second contest starting at 6:05 p.m. The second twin-bill will be on Sunday, July 27 with game one scheduled for 10:05 p.m. and game two for 6:05 p.m. Gates open one hour before every game.

Opening day at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard is Wednesday, April 30 against the Sugar Land Skeeters at 7:05 p.m. Season tickets, group outings and ticket packages are available by calling 203-210-BLUE or online at
