Bridgeport, CT - The Bridgeport Bluefish organization is happy to announce that the inaugural Bridgeport Bluefish Golf Outing will be held on Monday, August 25 at Great River Golf Club in Milford, CT.

The Golf Outing will benefit the Bridgeport Bluefish Educational & Sportsmanship Foundation, which was created this year to provide resources for youth in the Fairfield and New Haven county areas and youth organizations centered around educational and athletic accomplishments.

“What makes golf more fun? Playing it with professional athletes!” said Bridgeport Bluefish General Manager Ken Shepard. “We plan on a great turnout for our inaugural golf outing. It benefits our new non-profit organization, the Bridgeport Bluefish Education & Sportsmanship Foundation.”

Those who are interested in registering for the Bluefish Golf Outing can register as individual player for $195 or as a foursome for $750 per four players. Registration includes a continental breakfast before the round, green fees and a cart, a buffet lunch after the round, a ticket to a future 2014 Bridgeport Bluefish home game and a gift bag. There are also sponsorship opportunities for the Golf Outing, ranging from hole sponsorships to a Lunch Sponsorship.
