Bridgeport, CT - Individual tickets for all 2012 Bluefish regular season home games will go on sale this Saturday, March 24 starting at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard box office and this will be the only place to get your Bluefish individual game tickets until 2 p.m. After 2 p.m. all tickets will be available online at www.bridgeportbluefish.com. “We look forward to seeing all of our fans here at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard for the opening day of ticket sales,” said Bluefish general manager Bob Goughan. “This event signals the beginning of another great season of Bridgeport Bluefish Baseball.”

A fun and fan-friendly atmosphere will surround The Ballpark at Harbor Yard during this special event. Boar’s Head will be on hand to serve all guests hamburgers, hot dogs, and Italian sausage, which are some of the new concession items that will be sold in the ballpark this season. SBC will also be in attendance to provide a craft beer sampling for all fans 21 and over and Pepsi will be providing soft drinks. Everyone will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Bluefish merchandise at the Gear Shop, while the younger Bluefish fans are also encouraged to make their way to the ballpark to test their fastball at the speed pitch booth and spend some quality time with Bluefish manager Willie Upshaw and mascot B.B. the Bluefish.

“This year’s celebration of 15 seasons of Bridgeport Bluefish baseball is a testament both to the city’s love of the game and the successful partnership between the ownership, the city and the fans who support the team each and every season,” said Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch. “Congratulations to the ownership and management on their 15th anniversary season. I encourage everyone in the Bridgeport area to come down to Harbor Yard this season and enjoy a great night of family fun and entertainment at the ballpark.”

The Bluefish will once again offer one of the most affordable entertainment options in the area. Individual ticket prices for the 2012 season are $8 for Reserved Seats, $9 for Loge Box Seats, $12 for Field Box Seats and $20 for Harbor Club Seats.
