Stamford, Norwalk, and Rowayton students named to King Honor Roll

The following Middle School students from Stamford were named to the honor roll at King Low Heywood Thomas for the first trimester of the 2009-2010 academic year.

Grade 6
King Scholar: Allaa Abdelsaid, Lauren Gimpel, John Lineberry, and Jana O’Donnell

High Honors: Daniel Berger, Matthieu Chicoye, Idalis Figueroa, and Alexandria Rabassa

Honors: Ryan Correa, Nicholas Couch, Jenna Della Jacono, Charles Dill, Tyler Holtz, Evalise Johnson, Bradford Kaptinski, Emilio Lored de Mola, Kayonne Markes, Susan Moore, Rebecca Silberfein, and Luke Stone

Grade 7
King Scholar: Jeremy Benjamin, Maya Chandra, Hannah Hu, Alyssa Meyers, Mahesh Raman, and Allison Weiner

High Honors: Henry Catchpole, Sienna Velasco, Maura Welt, and Sarah Whaley

High Honors: Tucker Gouin, Emily Nixon, and Luke Pritchard

Grade 8
King Scholar: Maisie Heine
High Honors: Alison Carvalho and Alexander Streich
Honors: Jack Blattman and Campbell Ritchey

King Middle School students with high academic performance are honored for their achievements through a three-tiered system of recognition linked to the following student Grade Point Average (GPA) range:

Distinction GPA Range
King Scholar 4.00 - 4.50
High Honors 3.70 - 3.99
Honors 3.30 – 3.69
